1. Not(e) that I Love You

One innate attribute of love is, that it remains inexplicable

And time has made me believe, it is supposed to be so;

Secret, mysterious, unfathomable, enigmatic, deep,

Indecipherable, infinite, unrestricted and never-ending.

How far can I stretch my words to convey the gratefulness!

How long can I be silent to let my eyes express thankfulness!

How long can I hold you tight and thank you in embrace!

How will I ever cease “my love”, saying all that in your praise!

You taught me love, the way most unrefined;

Yet the zest of loving, remained underpinned.

You made everything, unadorned and straight;

Yet your approach, preserved the charm secret.

You gave me a love life so fancy, yet veritable;

Though you marked fences, you cared unfathomable.

I laughed like never before, I cried more than ever;

But with you what I got, otherwise I would’ve never!

I treasured being the hub, of your trance and soul;

I revered being your voice, vision, your world whole.

I admired the way you, made me feel on top of the earth;

With you, and the moments, I never felt love in dearth!

I am absolute, sated, blissful, all because of you;

I am serene, sure, sanguine, all because of you;

I want to live with a smile, and I want to die akin;

I want to spread delight, and all because of you.

My worries disappear, when I think of you;

I want you to smile ever, the way now I do;

More than your joy, nothing I want from you;

Nothing whatsoever my love, not even you!

You may, may not, I’ll always remember you;

And remain gratified to you, as I surely do.

Be blessed, stay happy, wherever you do;
